This 12 FAMILY PURPLE MARTIN HOUSE is perfect for your yard.  Purple Martins migrate from San Paulos, Brazil in the Spring arriving at the southern tip of Florida.  By May they have migrated to the Southern part of Canada.  Purple Martins generally stay east of the Rockies in the eastern 2/3 of the US.

 

The house should be located atop a 12-20 foot pole that is 15 feet from any tree.   If less than 15 feet, the squirrels can jump onto the house.
